Wuestenrot is located in northern Baden-Wuerttemberg between Stuttgart and Wuerzburg in the district of Heilbronn, surrounded by the forests of the Loewenstein Mountains and the rustic Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park. The northern wine-growing region of the Sulmtal with the recreation area at Breitenauer See invites hikers and bikers to explore the varied and beautiful landscape. To the south, the quaint forest, even overgrown with giant sequoia trees that are decades old, lures you into the Rems-Murr region. Enough space for extensive „forest bathing“.

Urban life can be found in Heilbronn, about 30 minutes away. Located in the university town on the Neckar, the shopping and nightlife soul will find everything that nature and forest don’t offer. Worth seeing and romantic half-timbered towns are Oehringen, Schwaebisch Hall and Backnang.

Theater, cinema and Experimenta, which is well-known far beyond the region, also offer something for all generations.

Sports enthusiasts can let off steam in the woods and on the very well signposted paths by bike, running or hiking. The nearby Breitenauer See attracts activities on or in the water.
